Is Protegent Antivirus a Scam?

It is vital to shield your computer from viruses and trojans regardless of whether you are either a businessperson or an internet user. One way to do this is with a good antivirus software solution. However, not all antivirus programs are reliable. In fact, some such as protegent are considered scams.

Unistal Systems Pvt Ltd., a company based in New Delhi, has created Protegent antivirus. The antivirus is available in three editions: Antivirus with data recovery software Complete security software and Complete security software. The antivirus comes with its own mascot, Proto. This was, until 2020, a ripoff of Super Why in the PBS children’s television show Super Why. The commercial for the anti-virus begins with a class of children who use computers at school. The teacher is looking over the browsing history of one of her students. She notices that the user has been surfing inappropriate websites. Then, a cartoon-style version of Proto appears and informs students that they must use protegent, a software program that will help keep them secure online.

Protegent claims it can defend computers from ransomware, malware, and other threats like Trojans, rootkits and Trojans. In addition, it helps users to improve the speed of their upload and download without jeopardizing their privacy. The product comes with a scan engine that protects computers from spyware, adware and Trojan viruses. It also includes a backup and restore function that helps recover lost or deleted files. It also removes the fragmentation of your hard drive to increase its efficiency.
